N2 Technology is Northstar 6100i"s method for moving information around your boat - a network of information. Add a radar to your 6100i, and all units can display and control the radar. Insert a Navionics chart card in the master unit and N2 makes that chart data available to all other units on the boat. Combine your Northstar 6100i with the Northstar Weather Module and you can get real-time graphical weather information. Add the Northstar 491 Sounder, and the performance is truly amazing.

The Northstar 6100i chartplotter is the core of the integrated navigation system. Concise, crystal-clear Navionics Platinum cartography is presented on the 8.4" daylight bright 640 x 480 full VGA display with blindingly fast speed, all at the touch of a single key. Enjoy 3D views, satellite photo overlay, panoramic pictures, port services, points-of-interest, tides & currents, and Coast Pilot books. The plug-and-play cartridge is ready to use. There are nine different screen color sets, and adjustable fish, bottom, and temperature alarms."

HD Digital Radar

Night or day, use the image in chart overlay or split-screen mode and even the most daunting passages become a snap. RangeRider, a Northstar exclusive, automatically saves your tuning adjustments for each range. When you go back to a range, the settings you"ve made are already there. Radar data can be presented in North Up, Course up, Leg Up and Heading up and of course you can overlay the radar on the charts.

Versatile Video Input and Output

The 6100i integrated system has NTSC and PAL video input and VGA output. Perfect for docking, engine monitoring, underwater cameras, DVD and TV. Just press the video key and see football next to the sounder display in the cockpit, or radar displayed on the TV or any external monitor/display. The choice is yours
