For years, the Thorn has been on the podium in competition
freestyle and the test winner for advanced freeriding. This
success has been a result of the Thorn’s efficient speed, solid
power, upwind drive, responsive pop, balanced control,
and extreme versatility in different wind speeds and water
conditions.
This year, we are excited to now offer two different versions
of the Thorn: the Thorn and the Thorn FC. Both versions share
a new outline offering enhanced power, pop, balance and
control, but differ in their new and unique constructions.
The Thorn is constructed in our new TIP2TIP 007 WOOD CORE
+ NASA/TECH-2 LAMINATE. It is the most solid, locked-in,
smooth, reliable performance we have ever offered.
The Thorn FC is constructed in a new, premium TIP2TIP WOOD
CORE + FULL CARBON TEAM LAMINATE. The Thorn FC offers
a whole new level of elite performance for the world’s most
talented riders. The full carbon version rides higher and faster
in the water with an even more responsive pop.
The Thorn has a lot of history to live up to, and we are
proud to say that the 2009 Thorn will exceed your
greatest expectations.
